Which measurement provides more realistic results?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Viele wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen, die die\u00a0 Ausbreitung von Sars-CoV-2 Viren zum Ziel haben, setzen k\u00fcnstliche Aerosolpartikel \u00fcber Aerosolgeneratoren frei. \u00dcber Partikelz\u00e4hler im Raum kann man dann so feststellen, wie sich die Partikelkonzentration an der Messstelle ver\u00e4ndert. Da Viren sich an Aerosolpartikel andocken und mit ihnen durch die Luftbewegung im Raum transportiert werden, liegt die Auswahl dieser Messmethode nahe. Bei n\u00e4herem Hinsehen stellt man aber gravierende Nachteile fest.<\/p>\n<p>In einem Raum wird man immer Partikel messen, weil er eben kein Reinraum mit sehr gut gefilterter Luft ist. Sind in dem Raum noch Personen anwesend, setzen diese weitere Partikel frei, sind sie in Bewegung, ist die Partikelfreisetzung noch gr\u00f6\u00dfer.<\/p>\n<p>Macht man ein Fenster auf, so str\u00f6men in belasteten Gegenden h\u00e4ufig mehr Partikel von drau\u00dfen in den Raum als heraus. Wenn jetzt zus\u00e4tzlich zur Partikelhintergrundkonzentration im Raum \u00fcber einen Aerosolpartikelgenerator k\u00fcnstliche Partikel freigesetzt werden, die eine Person als Virenquelle simulieren soll, dann kann man zwischen den k\u00fcnstlich emittierten und den durch Abrieb im Raum vorhandenen und \u00fcber Fenster einstr\u00f6menden Aerosolpartikel nicht unterscheiden.<\/p>\n<p>Da diese Einfl\u00fcsse auch den Wissenschaftlern und Sachverst\u00e4ndigen bekannt sind, werden die meisten Versuche in geschlossenen R\u00e4umen ohne Personen durchgef\u00fchrt. Stellt man sich vor, dass jede Person einen Luftauftrieb zwischen 80 und 100m\u00b3\/h durch ihre K\u00f6rperw\u00e4rme erzeugt, dann sind das bei einer Schulklasse mit 25 Sch\u00fclern ein Luftstrom zwischen 2.000 und 2.500m\u00b3\/h. Legt man nun f\u00fcr diesen Klassenraum einen Luftreiniger nach VDI-EE 4300 Blatt 14 mit dem 4 &#8211; 4,5-fachen Luftwechsel aus, dann sollte der Luftreiniger bei einem Klassenraumvolumen von ca. 200m\u00b3 einen Luftdurchsatz von 800-900m\u00b3\/h haben. Das belegt, dass das Str\u00f6mungsmuster der Luft im Raum von den anwesenden Personen dominierend gepr\u00e4gt wird.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M\u00f6chte man mit diesem Verfahren die Ausbreitung eines Virus in einem Klassenraum ohne die Anwesenheit von Sch\u00fclern messen, dann muss man die Sinnhaftigkeit dieser Messung hinterfragen<\/li>\n<li>M\u00f6chte man mit diesem Verfahren die Ausbreitung eines Virus in einem Klassenraum mit Anwesenheit von Sch\u00fclern messen, dann sind die Unsicherheiten sehr gro\u00df, weil der Partikelz\u00e4hler nicht zwischen k\u00fcnstlich generierten und im Raum befindlichen und\/oder durch Personen freigesetzten Partikeln unterscheiden kann<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nun betont der VDI und das\u00a0 Umweltbundesamt in seiner Expertenempfehlung bei dem Betrieb von mobilen Luftreinigern zus\u00e4tzlich alle 20 Minuten eine kurze Sto\u00dfl\u00fcftung zu machen. Das f\u00fchrt in belasteten Gegenden h\u00e4ufig zu einem deutlichen Anstieg der Partikelkonzentration im Raum und stellt damit die Eignung von Partikelmessungen in belegten R\u00e4umen g\u00e4nzlich in Frage.<\/p>\n<p>Auf der anderen Seite wird genau diese Methode der k\u00fcnstlichen Partikelemission zur Ermittlung der Leistungsst\u00e4rke eines mobilen Luftreinigers durch die Messung des Abfalls der Partikelkonzentration in einem Laborraum benutzt. Hier ist es jetzt aber so, dass der Laborraum ein eigens hergerichteter kleiner Pr\u00fcfraum mit 28m\u00b3 Raumvolumen ist. Er ist mit Edelstahlw\u00e4nden ausgestattet und wird vor der k\u00fcnstlichen Partikelfreisetzung von vorhandenen Partikel fast vollst\u00e4ndig befreit.
