Testing of the Exhaust Ventilation System

The \u201eEngineering Control Guidelines for hot mix asphalt pavers, Part 1 \u2013 New Highway-Class Pavers DHHS Pub. No. 97-105\u201c resp. the ISO\/DIS 20500-5 demand, that more than 80% of the released gases during the paving process are captured and exhausted away from the driver's platform.<\/p>

The current standard version demands a tracer gas test with SF6 or equivalent. Because SF6 is the gas with the highest global warming potential (GWP) it is important to emit as little tracer gas as possible. The TracerTech technique makes it possible to inject SF6 by a factor of more than1000 less compared to tests with Infrared analysing equipment.<\/p>

TracerTech can also do such tests using Perfluorocarbon tracer gases with have a GWP less than 1\/3 compared to SF6<\/sub>, thus, less problematic for the environment.<\/p>

Die zunehmende Sensibilisierung im Arbeitsschutz f\u00fchrt dazu, nicht nur im Labortest, sondern im realen Betrieb die Exposition im F\u00fchrerhaus des Stra\u00dfenfertigers bestimmen zu wollen. Bei unserem Messverfahren sowohl bei SF6 als auch bei PFT ist es m\u00f6glich, die Injektion \u00fcber eine kleine Laborgasflasche mobil auszubringen, Proben in Plastikspritzen zu nehmen und anschl. im Labor auszuwerten, um damit wirklich die reale Belastungssituation zu erfassen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
